Project Overview
The Center for Healthy Living is a premier, medically-oriented health and fitness facility located on 13 acres of the Oklahoma Health Center campus in Oklahoma City. The facility includes a medical office building, an ambulatory surgery center and the Oklahoma Center for Athletes.
The 65,000 sq ft Wellness Center portion of the complex was designed to create a spacious, open feeling for members and includes:
- Aquatics Center – Four lane, 25-meter pool & whirlpool designed for swimming & therapy programs
- Aerobics Studio – Designed to accommodate high and low impact aerobic activities, with specialized sound system
- Gymnasium – Multi-use, full size basketball court with hardwood floors
- Weight Training – Spacious free weight and circuit training areas with the latest in strength training equipment
- Aerobic Training – A variety of stationary aerobic equipment including: treadmills, stair-stepping machines, stationary bicycles and other simulators
- Racquetball/Squash Courts – Regulation size, glass enclosed courts with soundproof walls
- Medical Spa – Medically supervised weight loss program; health, fitness & anti-aging services; facial services; massage services; cosmetic services
- Fitness & Nursing Supervision Stations – Equipped with basic medical monitoring, including blood pressure cuff, oximeter, telemetry monitors, first aid supplies and emergency equipment
- Locker Rooms – Men's and women's locker rooms with extensive locker space, vanities and other amenities
- Food Court & Deli – Dining area that provides healthy meals, fresh produce and refreshments
- Gift Shop – Miscellaneous fitness and gift items
- Nursery – Supervised play area for children ages six weeks through nine years
